Hello! I wanted to make a full-length movie called Sterilized with famous actors playing heros and villans and what-not. But I lack the resources. So I made this webpage instead. At least you will understand the basic plot of the story. This is not a science-fiction story. No, this is a science-horror story. Horror is even more horrible when it is scientifically feasible and realistic (and when it is not fiction).

California is being crushed by 15,000,000 Mexicans and other illegals, and by 20,000,000 Dam'o'crats. The Dam'o'crats brought in the illegals to displace the Republicans from their jobs and homes. That is why there are millions of homeless Americans in California. The homeless are not the problem, they are the result. There are Americans sleeping on the sidewalk and the Dam'o'crats continue bringing in and supporting more illegals. The Dam'o'crats round up trainloads of homeless Republicans and take them to the FEMA death camps. They are cleaning up the sidewalks so they can bring in the Olympics. These are the same Dam'o'crats who tell you it is okay to murder your children. In California their "cup of iniquity runneth over". It is time for sterilization. That is what this science-horror story is about.

And that is the horror part of this story. Now it is time for the science part.

You have probably heard of the Ring of Fire. This is the string of volcanoes and earthquake fault lines surrounding the Pacific Ocean. The Ring of Fire outlines the Pacific Tectonic Plate. This is the largest tectonic plate on earth. You probably know the earth is really a ball of melted liquid rock. What we call solid ground is just a thin crust on the outside which has cooled. The crust is broken into sections we call tectonic plates. The other plates are crushing in on the Pacific Plate from all sides. That causes the deep trenches and volcanoes all around. Most of the Ring of Fire is volcanically active and earthquake active. The part going through California has been strangely quiet.

The second largest tectonic plate is the North America Plate. The North America Plate was once wrinkled and folded, with a couple pieces sticking out. The two huge tectonic plates have crashed together and are grinding into each other. The wrinkled pieces on the North America Plate jammed into the Pacific Plate like sticks in the mud. This locked the two huge pieces of crust together at this spot. The grinding process has not been smooth. The junction between the Plates is called the San Andreas Fault Line.

When the two plates crashed the strong, wrinkled, mountainous parts cut into and rode up onto the Pacific Plate.

Later, the two plates moved relative to each other along the Yellow line. The northern piece broke right off of the North America Plate. We call it the Juan de Fuca Micro-plate. It floats along with the Pacific Plate, but it is slowly being ground up into rocks and dirt by the two big plates.

The other wrinkle-ridge bent instead of breaking off. Now we have the Sierra Nevada Mountains and the Tehachapi Mountains. This mountain range resisted breaking off, and so it acts as a stick in the mud. It sticks into the Pacific Plate at Mt Pinos and keeps the two big tectonic plates from moving relative to each other here at this point. But the rest of the junction is moving, so pressure builds up onto the stick. The stick is bent more and more but resists movement of the mud (Pacific Plate). So each tectonic plate builds up a shoulder which digs into the other plate.

The 1857 Fort Tejon Quake (red) followed the primary San Andreas Fault Line around the stick at Mt Pinos. It lost a lot of energy going around the bend and grinding the two plates down a little bit. Every 140 years or so the pressure builds up enough where the rocks collapse. The plates move a bit, grinding themselves into rocks and dirt which comes flying out of the crack. That is why there is a valley between two ridges. The ridges along each side of the crack are made of the rocks which poured out of the crack. I got this image 11-28-2021 from the NOAA GOES satellite. California is outlined in green, the San Andreas Fault in black.

The moment-magnitude 7.9 Tejon Quake was preceded by several magnitude 5 or 6 earthquakes in the area between Parkfield and Hollister. Another magnitude 6 quake near Parkfield stimulated the beginning of the Tejon Quake. The ground broke open right there and a crack proceeded southeast 180 miles. Much of that distance experienced 20 to 30 feet of relative movement of the two plates.

These green lines are known earthquake fault lines in southern California. The red dot is the location of the epicenter of the quake in Parkfield. The red line is the part of the fault which broke.

During the Tejon Quake this part of the Pacific Plate moved northwest relative to the North America Plate which is moving southeast. A little bit was ground off of the stick in the mud.

Since then the original wrinkle ridge has been bent, and now it is broken. A few years ago the Inyokern and the Ridgecrest Faults both broke, one after the other. They are at right angles to each other, right at the break in the mountains. One fault line follows the Sierra Nevada Mountains and the other fault line follows the Tehachapi Mountains. The stick is broken but it is still stuck into the mud. So now it is time for the Big One.

The two plates are grinding themselves together against the shoulder from Mt Pinos to Wrightwood. That is the thick yellow line in the following image. Wrightwood is where the Tejon Quake stopped after all that grinding. But it is real interesting because that is also where the San Andreas Fault splits into two lines. We can see where a new chip has already broken off of the Pacific Plate between the green and black lines. This relieved the pressure at the orange part of the shoulder. But it did not relieve the pressure at the yellow part of the shoulder. So we will see there is a piece of crust material that is ready to beak off of the Pacific Plate. It will form a micro-tectonic plate that will float along between the two big plates.

For some reason many experts keep prediciting the soon-to-come Big One will be a repeat of the Tejon Quake. They say it will happen way out in the desert somewhere, and so Los Angeles will not be destroyed, nothing to worry about. They think the two shoulders will very slowly grind themselves down in a magnitue 8 quake every 140 years or so. But it does not need to follow the same path!

Let me show you a different possibility.

When I moved to Los Angeles in 1977 they already had a name for the next major San Andreas event in this area: The Big One. They already expected it to happen around the year 2000 according to the normal schedule. Now it is twenty years after that. The Big One is building stronger and stronger.

The Big One starts off the same as the Tejon Quake did. Several magnitude 5 or 6 quakes in the Monterey area. Then another quake at Parkfield removes the last bit of resistance and sets off the Big One. The fault ruptures at Parkfield and the rupture proceeds southeast along the primary San Andreas Fault line.

But this time the crack does not bother going around the bend. This time it proceeds along a much straighter line. This time it cuts through the hill known as Mt Pinos. It follows the already-existing fault line south of Frazier Mountain and into the city of Santa Clarita. The new crack continues to rip open along the existing fault going into Pasadena. It continues along these already-existing fault lines down into Anza-Borrego.

So the Big One will be BIG! The Big One is a moment-magnitude 8.6 earthquake leaving a 270-mile long crack in the ground. The Crack runs right along the edge of the city of Los Angeles. The entire metropolitan area is destroyed. 14,000,000 people become dead or homeless. A few of those big buildings will remain standing, but everything in the buildings will be ejected through the windows. The Big One destroys the two main highways leading in and out of Los Angeles, the I-5 and the I-10. All the railroad tracks are wrecked. Anyone needing aid will have to wait a long time. The Big One destroys the California Aqueduct system which brings water to Los Angeles. Anyone needing water will have to wait a long time.

The yellow line outlines the Los Angeles metropolitan area where those 14,000,000 people live. The red and black line is the San Andreas Fault, the red line is the part of the fault which ruptured in the 1857 Tejon Quake. The blue line is the location of the rupture of the Big One.

The area between the black line and the green line (next image) is the little chip which has already broken off of the Pacific Plate and is now floating along with the North America Plate. Currently there has been a lot of earthquake activity along the green line, and the black part remains locked. That relieves the pressure at the orange part of the shoulder. Now if the next big earthquake follows the blue and purple line it will break the bigger chip off. This will relieve the pressure at the yellow part of the shoulder.

These cracks already exist, the Big One just has to follow them. Right now the two big tectonic plates are locked together here in California. Each plate keeps moving, bending like springs. This image is aligned with the previous and the next images so you can easily see the fault lines already in the earth.

The new CRACK already exists! The Big One wants to follow it!

The blue line marks the location of the Big One. The red line shows the direction the Fort Tejon Quake went. Carefully compare these images and you can see the existing fault lines which the Big One follows. The Big One cuts through the gap between Sawmill Mtn and Mt Pinos. It follows along the south side of Frazier Mtn. It follows along the existing crack through Santa Clarita and Pasadena.

The earth is already cracked along the blue line! And that is the crack the Big One would rather follow, instead of going around the bend again. You can obtain your own high-resolution images and the existing cracks will be easy to see now that you know what to look for.

Each big tectonic plate keeps moving, bending like springs. If we look at the recent earthquake activity maps of the last several years we see the little chip broken off and the bigger chip breaking off. The Big One breaks this chip off of the Pacific Plate which will be the Pasadena Micro-plate floating along next to the North America Plate. So the two big plates will no longer be locked together here in southern California.

On the following map you can see where the blue, green, and black faults go. The green line has lots of earthquake activity. That is the current location of the San Andreas Fault line. The future location of the fault also has lots of activity. Between Parkfield and Wrightwood the San Andreas remains locked. The brown lines mark existing fault lines, known cracks in the earth. Maybe you can see the Big One will WANT to follow the cracks defining the straighter line.

Next I show a composite image. The black line is the San Andreas Fault line which separates the North America tectonic plate from the Pacific plate. The small section at top-left is the Juan de Fuca Micro-plate. This piece broke off of the North America plate and floats along with the Pacific plate. Eventually it will be ground up between the two big plates.

The green line shows the small chip broken off. The red line shows the crack opened by the Fort Tejon Quake in 1857, 180 miles long. The blue line shows the 270-mile-long crack opened by the Big One. This is the line the San Andreas wants to follow as it is straighter. If it cracks here the pieces can slide along next to each other. If it cracks along the red line as usual the two big tectonic plates are forced to grind against each other, turning each other into dirt and rocks.

The magnitude 7.9 1857 Fort Tejon Quake cracked the ground 180 miles and had 20+ feet of movement. So then the 7.5 1872 Owen's Valley Lone Pine Quake shown in gold only made a 95-mile-long crack in the ground, but the ground movement was 40+ feet (horizontal plus vertical). The 7.9 San Francisco Quake of 1906 shown in magenta cracked the ground 300 miles and had a strong amplitude of motion during the quake.

The Big One will have many aftershocks. Maybe a magnitude 6 or 7 aftershock an hour or a day or even a year after the Big One will precipitate that which is appalling? So now the chip is broken loose.

But wait,, way up there in northern California we see the San Andreas fault draws a wavy line along the coast from Parkfield up to Eureka. There are several little shoulders pushing against each other. That is why that part of the fault remains locked. The CRACK would rather follow a straighter line. Such a line exists already, and it is active already, as you might have guessed. There are already two stress cracks formed, both are active.

The San Andreas fault line has been crooked, it locks the two big springs together, and the pressure continues to build. And so now the ground is ripping along these two new lines. In northern California the fault is ready to follow a straighter line, and it made two to choose from. In southern California the fault already defined a straighter line.

So now it is time for the two big springs to pop free. Nothing is holding them anymore. The interface between the two giant tectonic plates becomes straighter, and so the pieces of crust can slide along next to each other. So a magnitude 6.7 aftershock at Mt Pinos could begin the California Quake.

Okay, here you have it: The California Quake! The San Andreas Fault opens up again right there at Mt Pinos. It rips along the new line going southeast 300 miles into the Gulf of California. At the same time it rips the ground northwest along the new crack 700 miles into Oregon. Maybe the North America Plate shoves itself south ten miles? Maybe the Pacific Plate moves twenty miles northwest at the same time? Yes, miles!

Welcome to the:: CALIFORNIA QUAKE !!

The magnitude 7.9 Fort Tejon Quake moved the ground twenty feet in two minutes. That was the most powerful earthquake ever recorded in California. The magnitude 8.6 Big One might get a relative movement of thirty feet in three minutes. What happens when there is the relative movement of thirty miles?

The appalling earthquake which I call the magnitude-10 CALIFORNIA QUAKE is 20,000 times more powerful than the moment-magnitude 8.6 Big One. That is what happens.

The Big One was merely the precursor-shock to the horrifical CALIFORNIA QUAKE. The Big One was like a hiccup before a hurricane. The Big One was a warning to California to change your ways. The Big One removed the last bit of resistance in southern California when the micro-piece of crust broke off. Now both big tectonic plates rebound into happy new positions. Happy for them.

Very unhappy for California. Imagine two huge springs locked together at the tips. They are bent more and more until the tip breaks off of one spring. At that moment the springs break free and straighten themselves out. It leaves a horrid scar on the earth from Mexico to Oregon where the ground was ripped open. The gruesome California Quake changes the course of human history.

The purple line shows where the ground is ripped open by the earthquake which is appalling. The black lines show the rest of the San Andreas Fault line. California is outlined in light green. In the southeast area the section between the purple line and the black line is the new Pasadena Micro-plate.

The entire state of California will experience Charles Francis Richter's magnitude-ten total-destruction earthquake lasting thirty minutes or so! The amplitude of the CALIFORNIA QUAKE is eighty feet or more. That means the ground is pumping up and down eighty feet at a time, about ten times per minute.

Expect every building in the state to be thrown down flat on the ground. Outhouses, skyscrapers, houses, factories, every structure in California will be destroyed. Trees, telephone poles, dams, bridges, and all things will be broken and smashed into the ground. Cars and trucks and trains will be thrown into the air and then smash back down, over and over, for a half-hour. All tunnels, caves, and bomb shelters will collapse. The ground will punish and destroy everything on the ground. A magnitude 8 sideshock into the Owen's Valley will hardly be noticed during the hideous devastation. The CRACK will spew enormous amounts of dirt and rock as the plates grind together. Cities will be buried. Near the Mexico border the land subsides and allows the Pacific Ocean to flood into the city of Indio.

That would be a good day to be a bird.

California will be destroyed. Three-fourths of the people will be dead already, most of the rest are seriously injured and dying. There are no more doctors or paramedics. There are no rescuers coming to help anyone. There are no more hospitals. There is no more Fire Department, no Police, no law and order, or anything else to help you. There are no stores existing. Your home is gone, you have zero possessions, even if the highway was still driveable your car is smashed. Fires are raging. There is no food, no water, no electricity, no gasoline, no medical help, nothing. Total destruction.

California will be leveled to the ground.

But even that is not the end, no. For, the STERILIZER is coming !!!

Are you hearing me? There will be zero survivors. If the California Quake seemed horrendous, remember, the → → → STERILIZER is coming ...

The enormous energy release of the California Quake forces the Pacific Ocean to flow far away from California in all directions. The wild vibrations of the seabed flings the water away. All around the ocean cities near sea level will be flooded. Tokyo, Shanghai and Hong Kong should expect extra-ordinary inundation. Hawaii will not be a paradise. Pele is not happy with what she's been seeing, so she puts her cities underwater for a while.

When the earthquake finally stops the Pacific Ocean will be far from the normal California coastline. It will flow back towards its basin. So momentum causes some of the water to slosh up onto the California shore. Maybe this tsunami wave will be one mile high above normal sea level, 200 miles wide, and 1000 miles long. The Pacific Ocean will rise up and pour forth upon the land. The water washes over mountains like speed bumps. Expect all this blue area to be flooded under the ocean, thousands of feet deep. Flowing water carries grit and boulders and cars and sharks and ships and so it is wonderfully abrasive. The tsunami wave smashes all of it into California. As the water flows in, and then back out to sea, it will scour and scrub and sterilize the land. The water will carry everything out into the ocean. Hardly a trace of humanity will be left. Portland and Seattle no longer exist.

At such a time California can consider itself judged by the STERILIZER.

So we are left with three large areas flooded by the Pacific Ocean and an atrocious scar across the face of the land. The entire state of California is sterilized. Only birds remain.

People love science-horror stories! But we are still not at the end, no, it gets even more exciting. For there is a rumbling noise coming from the ground, getting louder ...

The California Quake will cause violent movement of the ground for thirty or forty minutes. A magnitude 8.0 sideshock along the east side of the Sierra Nevada Mountains through the Owen's Valley Fault would hardly be noticed during the hideous carnage and vicious devastation of the Richter magnitude 10.0 California Quake. Owen's Valley was the site of the third most powerful earthquake in the history of California, shown in gold on a previous slide. Now there is Diaz Lake where no lake was before. A sideshock through there is likely and it could stimulate the Long Valley Caldera into eruption.

Do you know, in California there is an already-restless and active supervolcano! The Long Valley Supervolcano has a ten-by-twenty-mile caldera on it which is capable of erupting as violently as the more famous supervolcano in Yellowstone Park. The Owen's Valley Fault line points right at it! like a trigger! Long Valley Supervolcano has been called "the world's most dangerous", mainly because of all the people who live next to it. This supervolcano is in the middle of California, looking over the millions of people in the San Joaquin Valley, yet hardly anyone knows of it. Many experts claim there is very little volcanic history in the Sierra Nevada Mountains, and what is there is just incidental to the faulting which created the mountains.

And yet the Long Valley Supervolcano is not fiction, it is really there! We are still working on the science part of this story. You can drive your car on highway US-395 from Bishop to Mono Lake, it goes up the southeast side of the supervolcano, right through the caldera, and down the north side. The close proximity to the California Quake cracks the floor of the caldera and liquifies the mantle material below that. The earth is shaken to its core. The rotation of the earth is affected. Some form of eruption is inevitable. The explosion would be heard everywhere in North America. So it would make a lot of people seriously unhappy if that thing blew off.

I remember many years ago an earthquake swarm under Mammoth Mountain caused fears of an eruption, so property values went down, till people forgot. Yet the hot springs and earthquakes in the caldera prove lava is close to the surface. Sections of forest are dying from the poison gasses recently coming from the ground. The famous Hot Creek has been closed to swimming because people keep getting boiled. So we know the monster is poised for horrendous eruption when opportunity arises. A major eruption would bury Nevada Utah and Arizona in deep ash. Those places would have suffered 60-80% destruction from the California Quake before burial. Ash remains where it falls till you pick it up and put it someplace else. It does not go away by itself like snow does. If twenty feet of ash falls on your city it forms a new ground level. All the farms and houses and roads and cars will now be underground. Most houses and buildings are crushed. Brutal. Whoever gets buried will likely stay there.

A previous caldera eruption in the Long Valley Supervolcano spread ash from what is now called Los Angeles to Nebraska. Can you imagine a hole in the ground ten miles in diameter? It is the size of a city. Now picture what it looks like with lava spewing out, and rocks, and poison gasses, and ash, high into the sky. It blots out the sun. Stupendous! The entire Mammoth Mountain Volcano with its ski resort is a tiny dot on the edge of the caldera, merely a bump on the supervolcano.

Long Valley Supervolcano is a super-monster waiting for a reason to obliterate half of the USA. The California Quake will provide all the opportunity it needs. Then the enormous weight of the Sterilizer on the land will encourage volcanoes to erupt. The water presses the land into the magma which squirts out of every crack. Also capable of eruption at the same time are Mt Rainier, Mt Washington, and Mt Shasta, but these are relatively minor.

Long Valley Supervolcano has the primary caldera and two side-vents. Perhaps you know both side-vents have been showing activity on the recent earthquake maps as lava is moving up into them. All three vents are ready, now. The Big One might be all the stimulation they need. One vent is southwest of Bishop, CA. There is Keough Hot Springs, heated by lava the water is so hot they have to blend in cold water from a creek. The other vent is at Luning, NV. The Luning side-vent is large enough to qualify as a second supervolcano with a small caldera of its own.

A full-scale eruption of all three vents at the same time should be expected whenever there is a strong earthquake nearby. It would affect every human being on the earth. The economy of the world collapses. Most governments collapse. Sunlight and food become scarce. The air is dark, poisonous, and hazardous to your health. If you wish to live, do not breathe for several months ....

Worldwide 817,000,000 people die from the California Quake and its associated events. That is one-tenth of the population of the earth. Jim Morrison said: "I woke up this morning and I got myself a beer. The future is uncertain and the end is always near."

Goodnight!
